Dr. Slava Poel
Anaesthetics & Chronic Pain Specialist
Dr. Poel has worked extensively in pain medicine and anaesthesia, both in public and private settings. Dr Poel completed core pain medicine training at the Ashley Ricketson Centre at the Alfred Hospital and has also worked at the Kingston Pain Clinic, Monash Health.
Dr. Sathiya Sivanesan
Acute Pain Physician
Dr. Sathiya (Sathi) has over 15 years of medical experience ranging from rural /remote medicine to acute trauma medicine, GP Anaesthetic, and Intensive Care Management. In 2017, he received his fellowship from The Royal Australian College General Practitioners. His General Practice interests include Acute pain management and perioperative medicine.
Dr. Nathan Swaminathan
Chronic pain and Geriatric physican
Dr Swaminathan currently works as ortho-geriatrician and peri-operative physician in Latrobe Regional Hospital and in Mulgrave Private Hospital where he is involved in Acute Pain Service. He is an adjunct senior lecturer in clinical medicine at Monash University.

Dr. Arul Sivanesan, MD, GPA, JCCA, is one of the Founder and Director of Victorian Acute Pain Service and Co-Clinical Director of Anaesthetics and Perioperative Services at Bass Coast Health. Arul is commitment to patient well-being encompasses acute-on-chronic pain management, addressing the unique challenges of chronic pain exacerbated by acute factors.
